I joined 24 Hour Fitness this week and even spent the extra money to have a trainer for 3 sessions. Since I’ve grown a little weaker from my injury and surgery, we decided I should start with water therapy, which is easier on my muscles and joints. Although, my first day at the club I decided to try out the recumbent bike for 11 minutes…probably a minute or 5 too long since the whole week following I’ve had shooting pain down my leg. It was my first workout (besides very light walking) since June, so reality set in that I’m not going to get back that quick. I’m working on taking it slow and being patient.
